Squarehat's furniture does not require heavy maintenance. Regular cleaning along with basic care can help preserve its timeless beauty for generations to come. Here are some basic care tips:

  • Dust the furniture regularly using a soft cloth.
  • Periodically wipe the wooden surface with a clean microfiber cloth damped in a wood-safe cleanser. Immediately wipe the moisture with a dry, soft, and lint-free cloth.
  • If you spill something, gently blot the stain with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid using coarse materials or rubbing the spot briskly, as this can spread the spill and hamper the finish.
  • Place mats and coasters under hot or cold items before placing them on the wooden surface.
  • Use a table cloth on your dining table or any other table top which is subject to daily use to avoid cuts and scratches.

  • Make sure the furniture is not exposed to moisture or water.
  • Keep the material away from direct sunlight and heat to prevent fading and preserve its original quality.
  • Avoid dragging the furniture when relocating it, as this could weaken the joints. Instead, opt to lift wooden furniture when you need to move it.
This product comes with 36 months warranty against manufacturing / workmanship defects, inherent termite and borer issues.

Above stated warranty does not apply to :
1. Normal wear and tear of the product over prolonged use.
2. Small cuts, scratches during normal course of product usage.
3. Damage caused due to incorrect installation/assembly by the customer.
4. Damage due to use of wrong cleaning methods or cleaning products or the use of harsh chemicals.
5. Product kept in contact to direct sunlight and water, resulting in decaying of wood.
6. Cracks developed due to the displacement of the product.
7. Upholstery fabrics etc. such as seat covers have no warranty.

Note:
  • There can be a minimal variation in color and finish of the products sold from time to time due to natural characteristics of wood.
  • In response to seasonal climate variations, solid wood will contract and expand throughout the life of the product, and it does not cover under the warranty section (for solid wood furniture).
  • Joint lines, wood grains, or other issues related to the natural characteristics of wood are not defects and are not covered under warranty.
  • With time solid woods are encountered by minor cracks, called as checks in timber industry, which are not included in faults and warranty as these checks do not hamper the life of a product.
  • As per industry standards, variation in dimensions up to 12mm and unevenness of up to 5 mm is accepted widely due to handcrafted product and differences in floor and surface levels.

Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your order, you can do so by sending us an email on hello@squarehat.in or by calling our customer care within 24 hours of placing the order. Once the order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
In case of cancellation of the order within the timeline, you will be charged 2.5% as payment gateway charges and the balance will be refunded in the original payment mode.


Returns
Your purchase will be eligible for return as per below criteria:

1. In case of Damage / Defective Product Received : In an unlikely event, if you happen to receive a damaged or defective product or any part is missing or packaging/product shows signs of damage in transit, report a complaint by emailing us at hello@squarehat.in or by calling at +91 9057541689 within 24 hours.
Note : Please ensure that the delivery received is in good condition and has not been tampered with, before you sign off acceptance. In case of a damaged package, please retain the original packaging (along with price tags, invoices, labels etc.) until our team reviews it. Additionally, please ensure to write “Received Damaged “on the delivery receipt when accepting and signing off with the courier partner.

2. In case of Wrong Product Received : Again,in an unlikely event, if the product does not comply with the specifications as per your original order, please let us know by raising a ticket at the help center within 48 hours of delivery.


Refund
If your order is eligible for return, We will be arranging for your return to be picked up in 7-8 business days post validation of the request.
Once your return is picked up, we will process your replacement / refund. Normally the banks take 7 – 10 days to credit the refund to your account.

Delivery

  • If you find the product packaging damaged or if packaging is open while receiving the product, then only in that case you may deny the delivery by signing and stating 'packaging damaged' on the delivery note and by informing the same to our support team within 24 hours.
Assembly
